If you’re anything like us, then you cannot live without your girl gang. Your squad. Your bffs. Whatever you call them, y’all are inseparable—we get it. In honor of our favorite girl gang, the Undead Girl Gang by Lily Anderson (out May 8th, but you can pre-order here), we’ve put together a list of the best female-only squads in all of pop culture.
1. The Plastics from Mean Girls
You can’t have a girl squad round-up without The Plastics. It’s been almost 15 years since this movie came out and we’re still trying to make fetch happen. Now with its own Broadway musical, Mean Girls has reached the next level, and we are so about it.
2. The Craft
If Undead Girl Gang was a movie, it’d be equal parts The Craft and Veronica Mars. We would 100% experiment with some witchcraft to be a part of this coven.
3. The crew of Mors Navis in Seafire by Natalie C. Parker
Okay, so Seafire isn’t technically out yet (is it August 28th, yet?!), but there’s no better seafaring crew than the badass ladies of the Mors Navis. We’d hop on board this ship no questions asked. Sisterhood is survival, afterall. (Psst, you can pre-order your copy here)
4. The Pink Ladies from Grease
If you’re anything like us, you know that The Pink Ladies are way cooler than the T-Birds. We’d like to think that we’re a group of Rizzos, but there’s no real way to go wrong here.
5. The Gladiatrixes of Ludus Achillea in The Valiant by Lesley Livingston
Fallon gets off to a rocky start with her fellow gladiatrixes at Ludus Achillea, but she earns her place and their trust eventually. Plus, we kind of feared that if we didn’t include these badass ladies on this list that they would come after us… We wouldn’t stand a chance. Start this series here!
