OKAY SO THE THING IS WE’RE EXCITED.

Ally Condie’s STUNNING return to YA with The Last Voyage of Poe Blythe is less than 2 months away, and you know what?

We have a trailer.

Basically, here’s what we know so far:

1. This is not your average love story.

And we QUOTE: “He was everything and you made him nothing.”

Okay, so we all know the hottie we meet on page 2 is supposed to be THERE FOR US TILL DEATH DO US PART.

As you can imagine, we’re pretty nervous that the whole till-death-do-us-part thing might not be as far off as we thought.

2. There will be blood…and gold

Can we just talk about the golden tear at the end? The gold in the lake? The gold on the map?

More importantly, at the end, did you spot all the blood in the lake? And this is the last voyage of Poe Blythe, you say?

Basically, whatever is going on here, there’s a lot of gold involved. And blood. And we’re scared.

3. Are we in the same world as MATCHED?!

SPOILER WARNING FOR THE MATCHED TRILOGY:

Remember that clean, bright place we know as the dystopian world of Matched?

Well we are getting some serious dystopian vibes from this trailer, only this world doesn’t look so pretty.

In fact, it almost looks like the world right outside of Matched…

Just a thought.

Not to mention, there is a CONFIRMED EASTER EGG HIDDEN IN OUR MIDST!

Either way, The Last Voyage of Poe Blythe is coming March 26th so March 26th needs to HURRY UP.
