The Best Laid Plans by Cameron Lund is possibly the cutest rom com of 2020 and we need to talk about it.
And we definitely aren’t the only ones.
The love for this adorable (and honestly?? Super wholesome) read is real and we’re sharing some of our favorite reactions thus far!
Let’s get one thing straight: we all love Andrew
Second, this book is going to make you feel a LOT of things.

It was candid, funny, embarrassing, at times confusing and frustrating, empowering, and ultimately right. This was the book on sex I think the YA genre has been waiting for. Five gold stars for you, Cameron Lund. This just became one of my favorite young adult books of all time.

Oh, and also it’s super sweet.
And as one reader put it, “basically, that means you need to read it ASAP.”
View this post on InstagramWhat’s your favorite pizza topping?! My absolute favorite is the Honey Pear pizza from @pinthousepizzalamar. But that’s kind of fancy. If we’re talking simple, I like pepperoni and pineapple. Yes, I’m one of the people who 100% believe belongs on a pizza. Also, I never actually reviewed this book. But I love it so much. I love Keely. I love Andrew. It might be a YA book but don’t let that hold you back. I gave it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ so basically that means you need to read it ASAP. #thebestlaidplans #cameronlund #penguinteen #youngadult #yabooks #pizzatoppings #booklover #bookworm #bookcommunity #bibliophile #atxbookladies #bookishladiesclub #booksharks #bookishgirlgang #spiveysbookclub #goodreads

It’s also gonna be raising the bar for 2020 btw.
Basically, read it…because you’re going to love it more than pizza.

If that wasn’t embarrassing enough for her, she meets a very attractive college boy that is definitely . Not wanting to scream ‘inexperienced’ she asks her best friend Andrew to take her virginity so she can learn all the tips and tricks. No one can get hurt if feelings aren’t involved right? Fact: I read this book every single second that I could yesterday. I’m all for YA right now and I’ve heard so much hype surrounding this book that preordering it was a must! It was . ♥️ I planned out high school (& every other phase of my life ) so I totally vibe with Keely on this, including penciling in how to lose your virginity (FYI mine didn’t go as planned either ) If you are a fan of friends to lovers romance, I def recommend this one! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Congrats @camloond on your debut novel! I cannot wait to see what else you have in store
