Vampire Academy is turning 10 years old this year! It’s been a decade since the epic stories of Rose, Dimitri, and all of our favorites characters first graced our shelves, so we’re celebrating big time with the Vampire Academy 10th Anniversary edition. It has an absolutely gorgeous new cover, and there’s a surprise inside: Richelle Mead wrote four extra short stories about the Vampire Academy world! Here’s what you need to know (with help from Richelle, who revealed the stories on Twitter!)

Story #1: The Turn and the Flame 

Story #1 is a prequel. Here’s a line of it: “But the eyes…those weren’t the Ozera eyes. They weren’t her eyes or Christian’s eyes.”
